Cookie Policy
Effective September 12, 2026
This page lists every kind of cookie and local storage Riggo uses, what each one is for, and how to change your choice. Riggo is free for drivers and we do not sell your personal information.
What cookies and local storage are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Local storage works the same way and is treated the same here. Riggo uses both to keep you signed in and to remember things so you do not have to enter them again.
Necessary — always on
These make the app work. They cannot be turned off.
- Your sign-in session, so you stay logged in between visits.
- Security and abuse protection.
- The choice you make on the cookie notice itself.
Preferences — your choice
These only make Riggo more convenient. If you turn them off, Riggo still works — it just forgets more between visits.
- The last location you set or allowed, so the map opens where you are.
- Answers you gave in the intro, so signing up is quicker.
- Whether you already dismissed a prompt like add to home screen or add your phone number.
- Your hours clock, so a live timer survives closing the app.
- Layout preferences such as whether the desktop side menu is open.
Marketing and measurement — your choice
With your permission, Riggo uses advertising and measurement cookies so we can grow the driver community: to see which ads actually bring drivers to Riggo, and to show Riggo ads to people who visited the site. That means Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) may set a cookie or receive an event saying a visit or signup happened.
These stay off until you accept them, and you can withdraw at any time. We do not sell your personal information, and we never share your CDL, medical certificate, location history or message content with advertisers.
Services we rely on
Some cookies come from services Riggo uses to work at all, and those services have their own policies.
- Google Maps and Google Fonts — maps, place data and the app's typeface.
- Google sign-in — if you choose to create your account with Google.
- Google Ads and Google Analytics, and the Meta Pixel — only if you accept marketing cookies.
- Google's privacy terms are at policies.google.com/privacy and Meta's are at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Your choice is remembered for a year, or until you change it. Rejection is as easy as acceptance, and the change takes effect immediately.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you clear them, you will be signed out and Riggo will ask for your cookie choice again.
