Riggo

Privacy Policy

Effective September 12, 2026

This policy explains what Riggo collects from drivers, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the control you have. Riggo is free for drivers and we do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

  • Account details — first and last name, email address and US phone number, and your profile photo if you sign in with Google.
  • Driver details you enter — CDL class, years of experience, home city or ZIP, truck and trailer details, VIN, and your work preferences such as pay, miles, route type and hometime.
  • Verification documents — photos of your CDL-A front and back and your medical examiner's certificate, plus the details read from them (name, license number, state, class, endorsements, expiration).
  • Location — your device location when you allow it, or the city or ZIP you type in, used to show what is near you and to estimate distance and time.
  • Hours you type in — the drive, break, shift and cycle numbers you read off your ELD, your destination and appointment time.
  • Activity — places you view or save, reports and reviews you post, messages you send in Riggo, and Mechanic conversations.
  • Device and usage data — app version, device type, general log data, and push notification tokens if you allow notifications.

Why we use it

  • To show you useful, nearby, personalized results instead of a generic list.
  • To let carriers and recruiters find drivers who match the work they have.
  • To confirm you are a real CDL-A driver, so recruiter offers on Riggo stay legitimate.
  • To help you think through your hours, and to alert you before a clock runs out.
  • To send you offers, replies, alerts and account messages.
  • To keep Riggo safe — preventing fraud, spam, abuse and fake accounts.
  • To fix problems and improve the app.

Who we share it with

  • Trucking companies and recruiters — your driver details and contact information, when you have chosen to be contactable about work. You can turn this off in your settings.
  • Service providers who run parts of Riggo for us — hosting and database, maps and places, email and push delivery, and AI providers that power Mechanic and document reading. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
  • Law enforcement or regulators when we are legally required to, or to protect someone's safety.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your contact details with recruiters or advertisers unless you have agreed to be contacted about work.

Calls, texts and email

With your consent at signup, Riggo and matched carriers and recruiters may contact you by in-app message, push notification, email, phone call and text at the number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text to stop texts, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or change notification settings in the app. Account and security messages may still be sent. See the Terms of Service for the full consent.

Your documents

CDL and medical card images are kept in private storage that is not publicly readable. They are visible only to you and to the Riggo reviewers who verify them. They are never shown to carriers or recruiters — those parties only see that you are verified. We keep them while your verification is current and for up to 24 months afterward so we can show why a verification was approved, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Location

Location is used only while you are using Riggo, to show nearby places, estimate your route, and suggest parking and stops. You can refuse or revoke the permission in your device settings and type a city or ZIP instead — Riggo still works. We do not sell or share your location with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies, advertising and measurement

Riggo uses cookies and similar local storage to keep you signed in and, if you allow it, to remember preferences such as your last location and whether you dismissed a prompt.

With your permission we also use advertising and measurement cookies so we can grow the driver community: to measure which ads bring drivers to Riggo, and to show Riggo ads to people who visited the site. That means Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) may set a cookie or receive an event saying a visit or signup happened. These stay off until you accept them, and you can withdraw at any time — rejection is as easy as acceptance. We do not sell your personal information, and we never share your CDL, medical certificate, location history or messages with advertisers.

The full list and the switch to change your mind are on our Cookie Policy.

How long we keep data

We keep your account data while your account exists. Messages, reports and reviews may remain to keep conversations and community content coherent. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, stored with access rules that limit each account to its own records, and documents live in a private bucket. No system is perfect — if a breach affects you, we will tell you.

Your choices and rights

  • See or correct your details — edit them in the app, or ask us.
  • Stop recruiter sharing — turn off being contactable in your settings at any time.
  • Delete your account and personal data — email us and we will take care of it.
  • Turn off notifications, texts, email or location whenever you want.
  • Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and Virginia), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, and to opt out of certain sharing. We honor these requests for every driver, wherever you are.

Make any request at riggo@rig-go.com. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

Riggo is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Where data is handled

Riggo is operated in the United States and your data is processed there. If you use Riggo from outside the US, you understand your data will be handled in the US.

Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The effective date at the top always shows the current version.
